My passion for and dependence on art did not become apparent to me until I reached college, where I passively found refuge in making art. It was then that I reflected on my childhood, being born and raised in Missoula, MT, and realized that art had been with and within me all along- I just hadn't realized how much I needed it yet. My work now is rooted in my curiosity and wonder in nature. It is in nature that I find my greatest inspiration, and the relationship between humans and nature continues to inspire me.
I currently attend St. Olaf College and will receive a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Political Science, with a concentration in Race and Ethnic Studies in May 2019. While I enjoy experimenting with any medium of art, my main focuses and joys are drawing, photography, and design or vintage. When I am not studying you can find me spending any time I can outside- hiking, running, reading, or being with friends. If you are interested in commissioning a drawing, a portrait session, or simply chatting over coffee, please contact me!
